About

Hi. I'm Kosta.

I teach people how to stop thinking in their native language and start feeling English instead.

I didn't grow up wanting to be an English teacher. I grew up bilingual — switching between languages so naturally that I never thought about how it worked. I just did it.

Then I started noticing something. Really smart people — engineers, lawyers, doctors — would freeze the moment they had to speak English in a meeting. They knew every grammar rule. They could write perfect emails. But the second they opened their mouth, something broke.

That "something" isn't knowledge. It's muscle memory. Your mouth was trained to make sounds in your native language. When you try to speak English using those same muscles, the same patterns — it comes out wrong. Not because you're bad at English. Because your body hasn't learned it yet.

"I don't teach you rules. I retrain your instincts. By the time we're done, you won't be translating in your head anymore — you'll just be talking."

How it works

We don't use textbooks. We don't do vocabulary lists. Instead, we talk. A lot. I put you in situations — ordering coffee in Brooklyn, defending a quarterly report to your boss, making small talk at a dinner party — and I watch exactly where your English breaks down.

Then I fix it. Not with theory. With repetition, correction, and real-time feedback. We drill the specific sounds, rhythms, and patterns that your mouth keeps getting wrong until they become automatic.

The 15-minute sessions aren't "quick chats." They're high-intensity reps. Like going to the gym for your mouth. The hour-long sessions are where we go deeper — reading together, breaking down how Americans actually structure their thoughts, understanding the culture behind the language.

Who this is for

People who already know English but don't sound like they do. High-schoolers prepping for the real world. Professionals who need to stop freezing on Zoom calls. Anyone who's tired of being smart in one language and awkward in another.

If that's you, let's talk. The first session is free — 30 minutes, no prep, no pressure. We'll figure out exactly where your English gets stuck, and I'll tell you honestly whether I can help.
